Privacy Policy for Cycle Chef

Effective Date: October 11 2026

1. Introduction

Cycle Chef is owned and operated by Sweet Potato LLC ("we", "us", "our"), 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. This policy covers Cycle Chef for iOS, cyclechef.com, and the related services used for cycle-aware meal planning. Cycle Chef provides wellness information; it is not a medical device.

2. Information we collect

Account and sign-in information: identifiers, name and contact information that you provide or that a sign-in provider such as Apple provides when you choose that method. Authentication and session records help secure access.

Health and wellness information: cycle dates and durations, phase information, irregularity, conditions, symptoms, diary entries, and health-history or intake answers and attachments that you choose to provide through the available services. This information is sensitive. Your associated practitioner can use information shared through those services to manage your plan.

Dietary preferences and planning: allergies, dietary restrictions, household size, ingredient and recipe preferences, saved meals, grocery lists and check-ins. We also hold the practitioner and enrollment associations needed to deliver your plan.

Communications and usage: messages, support requests and attachments you send, interactions with the services, and records needed to diagnose errors or protect accounts. Technical logs may contain IP address, browser or device information, request timing and the routes or features used. Website analytics may use cookies.

Purchases: plan, transaction identifiers, subscription and entitlement status, and related billing records. See section 9 for payment processing.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate Cycle Chef, create and manage meal plans, record cycle and dietary preferences, respond to requests, administer paid access, and diagnose service problems or misuse. The first iOS release does not generate personal daily AI insights. You can create meal plans and choose their dates in the app. Phase guidance and nutritional content are provided through the available app content and meal plans. Previously submitted data and historical service records remain subject to this policy and your eligible deletion rights.

4. How information is shared

Information is processed by the infrastructure and authentication services used to operate Cycle Chef and its related HTMA services. Practitioners can access the information shared with them through your enrollment and care or planning relationship. Payment processors receive payment information as described below.

The website uses Google Analytics when configured to understand website usage. This is distinct from your health and meal-planning records. We do not describe the disabled personal daily insight feature as an active transfer of your health information to an AI provider.

Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law, to address fraud or security issues, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal data. Contact us with questions about the services processing your information.

5. Security

We use secure transport and access controls to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your account credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Retention and deletion

We hold information needed to operate your account and provide the services. You may request deletion of eligible account and associated wellness or health information. This policy does not establish a fixed retention period. Some narrowly justified records or backup copies may require separate handling; requesting deletion does not establish that all copies have already been erased. Contact us for information about your request and any remaining retention obligations.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, receive, restrict processing of, or request deletion of your information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Use in-app privacy or account-deletion controls where available, or contact hello@cyclechef.com. We may need to verify your identity. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account or server records. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions. Manage Apple subscriptions through your Apple account's subscription settings.

8. Children's privacy

The services are not intended for individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information so the request can be reviewed.

9. Payment processing and subscriptions

Website purchases use Stripe; Apple in-app purchases use Apple where available. We do not store full payment card numbers. Those providers process payment details, billing contact information and fraud-prevention data under their own policies. We receive transaction, subscription and access information to administer your plan. Website billing and Apple purchase offers may differ; the terms shown by the relevant provider before purchase apply. See our Terms of Service.

10. International processing

Information may be processed in the United States or other places where our service providers operate. Applicable data-protection rules may differ by location. Contact us with questions about your information or applicable privacy rights.

11. External links

External sites, including payment and sign-in providers, have their own privacy policies. Review those policies when using their services.

12. Changes to this policy

We publish updates here with an updated effective date. Review this policy for changes to the practices described above.
